仕事内容	Job/Group Overview: We are seeking a Vice President to support algorithmic trading product initiatives specifically for the Japanese market. This role requires deep understanding of Japanese equity market micro structure and regulatory environment, combined with both Japanese and English business fluency. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between global product teams and Japanese trading functions, clients, and senior management, ensuring product offerings are tailored to local market requirements. Working closely with the APAC Executive Director of Algo product, Japan Equities and global teams, this position focuses on market-specific product adaptation, stakeholder communication, and local relationship management. The role is based in Tokyo with occasional regional travel in Asia. The candidate will locally report to the head of Equity Digital Innovation, and functionally to the APAC Head of Algorithmic Trading Product (based in Hong Kong). Responsibilities: Serve as primary point of contact for algorithmic trading product initiatives within the Japanese market, ensuring alignment with local trading practices and regulatory requirements Collaborate with Japanese trading desks, sales teams, and institutional clients to gather market-specific requirements and feedback on algorithmic execution strategies Deliver presentations and product updates to Japanese senior management, trading functions, and clients in both Japanese and English Monitor Japanese equity market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape, providing insights to global product teams Support client onboarding and training for new algorithmic features, ensuring proper understanding of execution strategies and performance metrics Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to ensure algorithmic trading products meet Japanese regulatory standards and market conduct requirements Facilitate communication between Tokyo-based teams and global product management, ensuring timely escalation of issues and requirements Work with local stakeholders, strats and trading functions to define regional and global delivery roadmap Manage relationships with senior trading functions, sales teams, and institutional clients across Japan, delivering regular updates to global and local management on product performance and roadmap progress
経験・資格	※求人情報の応募要件全てに該当しなくても、企業様に対して内々に打診したり相談することが可能な場合もございます。一つでも当てはまる方は前向きにご検討下さい。 Requirements: Skills and Experience Business level fluency in Japanese and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages Strong understanding of Japanese equity market micro structure, trading practices, and regulatory environment including TSE operations and local market conduct rules Knowledge of algorithmic execution strategies with focus on how they apply to Japanese market characteristics and investor behavior Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to build trust and credibility with Japanese trading professionals and senior management Experience working in Japanese financial services environment with understanding of local business culture and decision-making processes Strong analytical skills for interpreting market data, algorithm performance metrics, and client feedback Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures, serving as bridge between Japanese and global teams Experience in financial services with exposure to electronic trading, sales, or product management roles Proven track record of successful stakeholder management and client relationship development in Japanese market Project coordination experience with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Job Knowledge, Qualifications and Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred Professional qualifications relevant to Japanese financial markets (Series 1, local securities licenses) advantageous Strong knowledge of Japanese equity market structure, TSE trading mechanisms, and local settlement processes Understanding of algorithmic trading concepts including TWAP, VWAP, implementation shortfall, and market impact analysis Familiarity with market data systems, trading platforms, and electronic execution infrastructure used in Japanese markets Knowledge of Japanese financial regulations affecting algorithmic trading and institutional execution services Strong presentation and documentation skills with ability to create materials for both technical and business audiences Data analysis tools(Tableau, PowerBI); basic programming knowledge (Python, SQL) beneficial Cultural competency and deep understanding of Japanese business practices, relationship building, and communication styles Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with global teams ※更なる詳細事項は、カウンセリング（面談）時にお伝えします。
